SCR-Catalysts
SCR (selective catalytic reaction) exhaust gas aftertreatment systems are used to clean the exhaust gases of gas engines and ignition jet engines that run on biogas, natural gas, sewage gas, landfill gas or mine gas, as well as diesel engines. By adding a reducing agent (AdBlue), the nitrogen oxides (NOx) are selectively converted to nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O). With the aid of an SCR metering system, the reducing agent is fed from a tank to the injector and metered in toward a mixing device to achieve ideal mixing of ammonia with the exhaust gas stream in the exhaust tract. At the same time, the SCR catalyst selectively converts formaldehyde. A downstream barrier catalyst additionally converts carbon monoxide and prevents ammonia emissions.
SCR catalysts are based on very thin, high-temperature-stable foils made of heat-resistant alloys, which are given a honeycomb-like structure by a special winding process. For reliable nitrogen oxide reduction and formaldehyde conversion, the wound metal foils are coated with a special and highly resistant coating.
The SCR catalysts from Emission Partner, are designed for high conversion performance of nitrogen oxides and formaldehyde, and long-term stability.
All our SCR catalysts are 100% manufactured in our own production and for this we guarantee you safe compliance with your emission limits and a passed emission measurement.*
