The history of
Emission Partner
Market leader in exhaust gas aftertreatment in 10 years
Emission Partner was founded in 2010 and continues to grow steadily. It is not only the number of catalytic converters produced that is constantly increasing, but also the number of employees. There are now around 80 employees at the locations and in the regional offices.
New company building in Strücklingen
Emission Partner GmbH & Co. KG now has a new company location in Strücklingen, with around 4,000 m² of production space and a new office complex. The individual departments are now better coordinated and the production flow is optimised.
Topping-out ceremony in Strücklingen
Emission Partner GmbH & Co. KG is preparing to move from Ramsloh to the new production hall in Strücklingen. During the topping-out ceremony, Lukas Reinken, a member of the state parliament, presented a grant from the state of Lower Saxony.
Biogas Innovation Congress 2023
Emission Partner receives an award for the Formaldehyde Rapid Tester 2.0 at the Biogas Innovation Congress.
10 years Emission Partner
Emission Partner has become the market leader in exhaust gas aftertreatment in just under 10 years and intends to remain so.
Change in the management
Dr. Klaus Zanter, founding member and Managing Director of Emission Partner GmbH & Co. KG alongside Dirk Goeman, will leave the company at the end of April 2020. After 10 successful years and great development work, Klaus Zanter wants to devote himself to new challenges.
Fully automatic catalyst coating system
The system has been in operation for a short time. A special feature of the system is the integrated drying system based on the flow-through principle, which makes it possible to coat and dry even very large catalytic converters in just a few minutes. This automates the critical coating process with documentation of all operating parameters. The development of the system was anything but easy due to the widely varying catalyst diameters and the fact that only very small batch sizes are available.
EMI-LOG: Continuous catalyst monitoring
In June 2019, the Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (TA-Luft) were replaced by a new Federal Immission Control Ordinance (44th BImSchV) and all operators are required to continuously monitor the emissions from their systems with immediate effect.
EMI-LOG is an engine manufacturer-independent and self-sufficient solution for all engine types, and in addition to continuous compliance with emission limits, you can also meet the requirement for effective operation of your catalytic converter.
Delivery of our new SCR compact system
The round SCR compact system promises enormous space advantages with a single insert for both oxidation and SCR catalytic converters. With the same overall length, it is easy to integrate into the exhaust system and only varies in diameter with increasing emission reduction requirements.
Connectors for pressure and temperature sensors are already pre-assembled. The screw-on cover simplifies handling and, together with the lamella spring brim on the catalytic converters, ensures optimum sealing and thus minimized exhaust slip.
Introduction of the new logo
The Emission Partner logo gets a new look. Instead of a green tone, there are now clear and modern blue tones for Emission Partner.
SCR exhaust system
No compromises when it comes to flexibilization. In cooperation with the companies “Martin Adam GmbH” and “enkotherm”, we developed our concept for safe compliance with the 44th BImSchV. The SCR exhaust system consists of a silencer, SCR catalytic converters, oxidation catalytic converters and an exhaust gas heat exchanger.
The slat-spring brim
To improve the seal between the catalytic converter and the inner surface of the heat exchanger, the engineers in our development department have developed the “lamella spring brim” (LFK for short).
The individual slats adapt individually to the respective conditions. As a result, the exhaust slip is significantly reduced and the conversion performance increased.
Further development of the silencer-SCR reactor combination
The silencer system developed jointly with Martin Adam GmbHSCR reactor combination has been further developed and perfected. The square catalytic converter elements now give way to round catalytic converter disks and there is only one insert for them.
World first: Formaldehyde rapid tester
The formaldehyde rapid tester is developed and launched on the market by Emission Partner.
Catalyst winding system
The catalyst winding system developed jointly with Kurre GmbH is put into operation.
New company building
The new company building in Saterland-Ramsloh is completed. In addition to the large production hall, the bright offices and modern social rooms will be occupied.
Jobs are created
Emission Partner creates jobs. In addition to the two managing directors, the company had 14 employees at the end of the year.
Founder Award Northwest 2014
Emission Partner receives 2nd prize in the “Gründerpreis Nordwest 2014” competition.
Innovation Award 2014
Emission Partner receives the German Agriculture Innovation Award for the first 3-way SCR catalytic converter, which reduces CO and formaldehyde as well as NOx.
First SCR catalytic converter system
At Agritechnica in Hanover, Emission Partner is presenting the first sulphur-resistant SCR catalytic converter system for biogas plants, which guarantees stable compliance with NOx limits for the first time.
Biogas symposium
Dr. Zanter gives a lecture on the sulphur-resistant biogas catalyst at the Biogas Conference in Leipzig.
BioEnergy Decentral
Emission Partner is represented for the first time at the “BioEnergy Decentral” trade fair with its own large stand.
Emission Partner GmbH & Co KG
Emission Partner GbR becomes Emission Partner GmbH & Co KG. Dirk Goeman (Strategy, Marketing and Sales) and Dr. Klaus-Dieter Zanter (Technology, Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, IT) are appointed as Managing Directors.
First coating system
Completion of the first coating system. The first catalytic converters are installed on biogas engines. Emission Partner supervises the first exhaust gas measurements to obtain the emission reduction bonus.
Foundation
Dirk Goeman, Dr. Klaus-Dieter Zanter and the two shareholders of the Kurre Group Reinhold Kurre and Stefan Plaggenborg found Emission Partner.
