SCHNELL Motoren GmbH and Emission Partners agree on cooperation

The reason for the cooperation was the reduction of the formaldehyde limit value for biogas plants which receive the emission reduction bonus. The first joint project is therefore the conversion of the oxidation catalysts to the new catalyst exchange system developed by both companies: “Continuous and long-term compliance with the emissions of our cogeneration plants is our declared goal. Together with SCHNELL engine technology and Emission Partner’s emission know-how, we want to implement this across the board for our customers,” explains Bernd Brendel, Managing Director of SCHNELL Motoren GmbH: “With the new exchange system we enable our customers to continue to receive the emission reduction bonus, reduce the installation time during exchange and enable catalyst maintenance during normal on-site service,” says Product Manager Enrico Lagoda, describing the innovation.”

The two companies also want to cooperate on new projects with regard to the new regulation of TA Luft.
