EEG formaldehyde limit reduced to 20 mg/Nm³

From 01.07.2018 the submission of a passed measurement report with a formaldehyde measurement value of 20 mg/Nm³ is required to obtain the emission reduction bonus for EEG plants.

“This means that the new limit will actually apply from 1st January 2018, because operators of biogas plants who do not want to measure twice in 2018 should already be able to prove the new value in the first half of 2018”, Jessica Manser, Head of Emission Measurements at Emission Partner, sums up the situation.

Already today, some customers only require catalysts from us if the new halved limit value is reliably complied with.
